1996年夏 アトランタ公演を最後にボブのツアー・バンドを離れましたが、約4年間 383回の公演(ISISによる) をボブと共にこなしました。ダイナミックなスティックさばきでパワーあふれる演奏には、ボブも振りむくほど （例:1995年12月16日、1996年6月ハイドパーク）でした。
Silvio や RDW の激しいオープニング、それにもちろん I and I でのシンバルの響きは彼のカウントする声と共に忘れられません。

- ボブとの最初の公演: 1992年 9月6日ミズーリ州カンサスシティ
- 最後の公演: 1996年8月4日ジョージア州アトランタ ハウス・オブ・ブルース
- アリゾナ州フェニックス出身。ゴスペルで音楽にふれ、レゲエバンド Meditations や、地元フェニックスのバンド Giant Sand、トゥーソンのGentlemen After Dark, また Was Not Was 等のバンドでそれぞれ活躍したのち、1992年チャーリー・クインタナのバンド Havalinas に参加しました。
- ボブがツアーにドラマーを二人雇っていた1992年秋、当時のドラマー クインタナとの交代で加入しました。9月6日から13日までの6公演はイアン・ウォレスと二人でバンドのドラマーをつとめましたが、10月9日ペンシルバニア州ピッツバーグでツアーが再開された時からはバンドで唯ひとりのドラマーとなりました。
- ボブのバンドを離れたあと1996年10月13日、ウィンストンは rec.music.dylan へ 'A note from Winston'という文章を投稿しています。
- 現在妻子と共にアリゾナ州トゥーソンに在住。VEG というバンド、それにもうひとつ The Low Watts というバンドにも参加しています。
- 影響を受けたドラマーはレッド・ツェッぺリンのジョン・ボーナムだそうです。
